In doing so, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the European privacy legislation overseen by the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). We always treat your data confidentially and never sell it to third parties.

4. Who do we share your data with?
To be able to organize your trip, we share some data with parties that play a role in it. We only share what is necessary.
- Hotels, airlines, carriers, and local partners at your destination, to book your stay, flight, transfers, and excursions.
- Our payment service (Buckaroo), for the secure processing of your payment.
- Our email and customer systems (Brevo and FluentCRM), for sending confirmations, travel information, and — if you have given permission — the newsletter.
- Our web hosting provider, where our website and booking system are securely stored.
- VZR Garant, our guarantee scheme that protects your booking.
- Government agencies, when required for border control, immigration, or security. Which data is required varies by destination.
We have established agreements with parties that process data on our behalf regarding the careful and secure handling of your data.
5. Transfer outside the European Union
For trips outside the EU — for example to Cuba — we pass on your data to local service providers (such as hotels and excursion providers) to finalize your booking. These parties are themselves responsible for the protection of your data. Outside the EU, privacy rules are sometimes less strict than in the Netherlands. We do not pass on more data than is strictly necessary for the execution of your trip.
6. How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than necessary.
- Non-booked trips (quotes, requests): up to 1 year after the original departure date, after which we delete them.
- Booked trips: up to 2 years after completion, based on Article 7:23 of the Dutch Civil Code.
- Invoices and administration: 7 years, due to the legal fiscal retention obligation.
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
- Your Dance4two account: as long as your account is active. If you have not logged in for three years and have not booked a trip during that period, we will delete your account. The booking and invoice data linked to it will continue to fall under the terms mentioned above.
In exceptional cases where we need a copy of your passport for a permit, we will ask for your prior consent and destroy the copy as soon as the application is completed.
7. How do we secure your data?
We store your data in a secure database and in secure systems. Only people who need access for their work can access it. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use.
8. Cookies
Our website uses cookies. You can read what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can adjust your preferences in our cookie statement.
9. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you based on automated processing (without human intervention) that have consequences for you.
10. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- have the processing restricted;
- object to the processing;
- have your data transferred (data portability);
- withdraw a given consent at any time.
Would you like to make use of these rights? Send an email to info@dance4two.nl. We will respond within four weeks. To prevent abuse, we may ask you to identify yourself.
